In the heart of Nicosia, an old cinema now reborn as Creative film space etc becomes something else for one night. A room that once projected stories will now transmit frequencies. A space built for image will surrender to sound, repetition and movement. Shades of Techno brings together local DJs and musicians who spend most of their time in evolution and in deep inner states of experimentation each one in their own unique way. For one night, they step out to make the walls pulse again and make people feel things and forget about the world for a while. We are very happy to present our guests: - Alekkos & Motif are the founders of Barking Cats Radio and a DJ duo who’ve been sharing their sound together for the past five years. Rooted in minimal beats, their sets blend deep, atmospheric textures with upbeat rhythms and punchy basslines that build momentum and keep you locked in on the dancefloor. - DJ La Rozy is a raver-turned-DJ, shaping her sound for 1.5 years. Her sets fuse groovy house, hypnotic rollers, and raw techno, with deep rhythms and driving energy that lock the dancefloor. Traveling to countless festivals, she explores the full spectrum of techno, turning every set into a journey of connection and intensity. Our residents: - Socoshi, a former violinist, brings a refined sense of pitch to the local electronic scene. Since 2024, he has been producing and gradually integrating live equipment into his DJ sets, introducing sound elements that add depth, texture, and spontaneity. His performances lean on instinct on-the-spot selection and improvisation shaping immersive journeys of repetition and emotion. - Tale Quale is a Cyprus-based DJ blending psychedelic techno, minimal, and deep tech rhythms with hypnotic grooves and melodic energy that move both body and mind. Drawn to warm basslines, driving percussion, and emotional synths, Tale Quale’s sound flows between underground dancefloors and late-night moments where time blurs. - Marlèn began exploring the techno scene at a very young age-describes her self as true front-line, heart-driven raver.A year ago, she stepped behind the decks, transforming that lifelong passion into expression.
