This year’s theme, “Humanity: Protagonist and Observer. A Tightrope Walker between Creation and Destruction,” inspires a rich program of talks, readings, workshops, and performances exploring human nature and artistic expression. The Professional Conference (November 21–22) welcomes publishers, librarians, translators, and creatives for insightful sessions on children’s publishing, AI in the book industry, translation as cultural exchange, and Cyprus as a publishing hub. Highlights include readings and panels with Caryl Ferey, Lucy Fricke, Kyriakos Charalambides, Odysseas Ioannou, Amanda Michalopoulou, Pavlos Pavlidis, and others.
The Fair also celebrates French literature and culture, with events co-hosted by Bayard Éditions, Alliance Française Limassol, and the popular Beaujolais Nouveau Night. Finally, the LIBF 2025 Awards honor Cypriot illustrator Chryso Charalambous for her artistic contribution to book illustration.
