Old Strovolos Christmas Alley 2025: Street Festival in Nicosia

A festive street festival reviving the charm, crafts, and Christmas magic of Old Strovolos. For the first time this year, Old Strovolos Christmas Alley lights up Nicosia with a spectacular two-day street festival on December 6–7, 2025. Locals and visitors are invited to experience the magic of Christmas in the heart of Old Strovolos a celebration of community, craftsmanship, and festive joy. 🎄✨ 🎟️ Free entry. The festival transforms the streets and local businesses into a vibrant holiday experience featuring guided tours, live music, traditional sweets, pottery demonstrations, children’s workshops, and artisan markets. Highlights include: • Guided tours of the Old Strovolos Heritage Core and the historic St. George Chapel (1817) • Live pottery wheel demo and large collective clay vessel by Michalis Parpas • Creative kids’ workshops and messy play • Christmas choirs, local performers, and festive shows • Street food, handmade crafts, and local products Supported by local enterprises and organizations including Fabrica, Hóma & Neró Pottery, Pastel Art School, Hope for Children, One Dream One Wish, SPAVO, and many more.
