The Marios Toumbas Trio

Pianist Marios Toumbas returns to Sarah’s Jazz Club with long time friends, collaborators and Berklee co-graduates Irenaeos Koullouras on double bass and Ioannis Vafeas on drums and special guests. They will perform jazz standards and some original music. Toumbas has performed in hundreds of concerts in many countries including the Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada, the Dusseldorf Jazz Rally in Germany and the Blues North City Festival in Serbia. He has appeared at the Royal Festival Hall in London, Sun City Music Hall in Johannesburg South Africa and Megaron Mousikis in Athens. He has been an instructor of Jazz history and improvisation at European University Cyprus since 2009.
