Experiential Art Workshop for Adults at A.G. Leventis Gallery Nicosia

Join us for an experiential art workshop for adults at the A.G. Leventis Gallery in Nicosia, Cyprus on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 18:30 to 20:30. Titled «Here and Now: Awakening the Senses Through Art», this 2-hour workshop is led by Theodora Demetriou, Head of Educational Programmes, and Lenia Georgiou, Art Therapist and Visual Artist. Participation costs €15. Spaces are limited and the workshop is suitable for all levels. The session is inspired by the temporary exhibition «Christophoros Savvas: Simple – Complex – Invisible: An Unknown Archive». In the first part, participants engage in guided observation of artworks with focused mindfulness and attention to detail. In the second part, they work creatively with the paintings activating the sense of smell and recreating their own abstract work in watercolours through an embodied creative process. The workshop is self-contained, but participants who wish to deepen their experience can also join a follow-up workshop on May 9, 2026, offering a more in-depth exploration of the connection between art and creativity.
