MMA Bushido Cyprus Fighting Championship is the first MMA cage event of its kind to take place in Cyprus. On Saturday, 9 May 2026, Paphos Castle will host an extraordinary night of professional Mixed Martial Arts competition under internationally recognised MMA rules. The event features 12 bouts across multiple weight divisions, with fighters representing Cyprus, Poland, Lithuania, Georgia, Germany, Greece and Israel competing in the cage. Bushido Fighting Championship is the renowned European MMA promotion that has been running events continuously since 1999 and has helped launch the careers of some of the sport's greatest fighters. The event will be broadcast live on FIGHT+ HD and Prime FIGHT HD in over 120 countries, with an expected viewership of 50,000 to 100,000.
