Polemi Wild Tulip Festival 2026

A spring cultural festival in Polemi village this March 2026 at the Metochi Cultural Centre, celebrating the blooming of wild tulips. Free admission. The Polemi Wild Tulip Festival 2026 will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 11:00 to 17:00 at the “Metochi” Cultural Centre in Polemi village. In spring, the landscapes of Polemi are filled with vibrant colours as wild tulips (Tulipa agenensis) bloom among the green fields. Although the species is protected, it grows abundantly in this area. The blooming period lasts from the last week of March to the first week of April, making this festival the perfect time to experience the natural spectacle. Visitors can enjoy traditional loukoumades, taste local wines and Cypriot sweets, browse stalls with local products, and attend cultural performances including dancing, singing by schoolchildren, craft demonstrations and activities for children.
