Nicosia Antiracist Festival 2026: Two-Day Free Event

A free two-day antiracist festival in Nicosia this March 2026 at the University of Nicosia Campus, featuring workshops, talks, performances and community activities. The Nicosia Antiracist Festival 2026 returns on March 27 and 28, 2026 at the University of Nicosia, as an open, inclusive and free event promoting collective action against racism and discrimination. In a time when racism and inequalities continue to affect daily life in Europe and Cyprus, the festival creates a common space for education, culture, dialogue and participation. Activists, youth, academics, media representatives, civil society organizations, artists and community members from local, national and European levels will participate. ✨ What to expect Friday, March 27 | Education and Dialogue (16:00–20:00) Workshops, film screenings and discussions focusing on antiracist organizing, youth empowerment, gender equality, LGBTQI inclusion, disability rights, migration and access to rights, through an antiracist approach. Saturday, March 28 | Culture and Community (12:00–20:00) A large festival in indoor and outdoor spaces featuring talks, interactive workshops, a children’s corner, NGO kiosks, food from different cultures, crafts, second-hand stalls, live dance and spoken word performances, and a closing concert. 🤝 The festival is open to everyone, celebrating diversity and amplifying voices that often remain marginalized, connecting grassroots action with policy, research and media engagement. 🎟️ Free entry.
